A Million Ways To Die In The West - Film Review

Image from Google

When i first see the advert for this film, i though, oh! this looks quite good. I didn't really know what to expect when i went to the cinema to see it. Me and my friend usually have a cinema night once or twice a month and thought that this might be  good film to watch, and let me tell you, this has to be one of the best films I've seen in a long time! Im not just saying that, i really mean it. It is so funny and a great film to watch.

Description
  1. "After cowardly Albert backs out of a gunfight because he's never fired his gun, his fickle girlfriend leaves him for another man -- the proprietor of the town's foremost moustache emporium. When he accidentally saves the life of a mysterious and beautiful woman, she helps him find his courage and learn to stand up for himself. But when her husband, a notorious outlaw, arrives seeking revenge the sheep farmer must triumph over all of the hilariously awful dangers of the old west in order to save her."

The main character in this film is Albert Stark. Seth MacFarlane plays this character so well and you really feel a strong attachment to the character and follow his emotions throughout the film. His girlfriend leaves him for a man called Foy who is played by Neil Patrick Harris, and Albert wants her back.
newcomer called Anna, played by Charlize Theron, who is the runaway wife of Clinch, played by Liam Neeson comes in to the town and helps Albert try and win her back. But they both end up falling for each other.

This is packed with lots of funny scenes that will make you laugh. The cinema was full of laughter. My most favourite part has to be the moustache song and dance, its hilarious! Its also quite catchy and i had it in my head for days! There are some parts in the film that might make you go ew! but in a funny way though! If you have watched it, you will know what i mean. There are so many other famous faces in the film such as; Dennis Haskins, Ewan McGregor, Jamie Foxx, Patrick Stewart and one of my most favourite scenes in the film was with Christopher Lloyd in it, best known for his role as Doc Brown in the Back to the Future films. In this scene he plays his Back to the Future character Doc Brown.

Although some critics gave this film a low rating, i give it a very high 5/5.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and haven't laughed so much in a film for ages. During the film you will also start to realise why this film is called A Million Ways To Die In The West.

    Definitely a must see.

The Immortal Rules (Blood Of Eden #1) by Julie Kagawa - Book Review

The Immortal Rules

I haven't actually done a proper book review on here before, but i love reading so much and i want to share with you the books i love reading.
Im more of the science fiction type, i love a good book about paranormal-romance, vampires and zombies. Reading lets me jump in to a completely different world and join the characters for an adventure. Ever since i was really young when my mum taught me to read, i have always loved reading. I love that new book smell! I have so many books on my shelf and i can't wait to share them with you. I also have a Nook that my dad got me as a present, as due to me collecting so many books over the years i have run out of space for them! Don't get me wrong though, i love the feel of a new book and turning the pages when reading, but with my Nook i am able to store lots of books at great prices on there. Its also handy to take with me when i am out for the day.

Description of The Immortal Rules

"Allison Sekemoto survives in the Fringe, the outermost circle of a walled-in city. By day, she and her crew scavenge for food. By night, any one of them could be eaten. Some days, all that drives Allie is her hatred of them—the vampires who keep humans as blood cattle. Until the night Allie herself dies and becomes one of the monsters.

Forced to flee her city, Allie must pass for human as she joins a ragged group of pilgrims seeking a legend—a place that might have a cure for the disease that killed off most of civilization and created the rabids, the bloodthirsty creatures who threaten human and vampire alike. And soon Allie will have to decide what and who is worth dying for… again."

This book is amazing and i highly recommend it. You really get in to the book and you feel like you know the characters and become really attached to them. This has definitely been one of the best books i have read. I felt so many emotions whilst reading The Immortal Rules. I have read many good Vampire books but this one is at the top of my list.

You get to follow Allie from before she became a Vampire and her life as one. This is very interesting reading a book from the point of view of a Vampire.
Allie is a very strong and powerful young girl and overcomes a lot of obstacles and emotions on the way. Allie wants to be different to the other Vampires. On the way she meets new friends and new enemies. Allie is such an amazing character and as i said you really get to know the characters in the book and become really attached to them, so you feel the same emotion as what they are feeling.
The Rabids are horrible creatures and i really felt scared for Allie and her friends when these bloodthirsty creatures come in to the pages.

Im not going to go too much in to what happens in this book as i don't want to spoil it for you.

Julie Kagawa has also written quite a few more books and they look so good, so i can't wait to get my hands on them and read them.
Julie has written this book brilliantly.

I give this book a very high 5/5.

Lifestyle: - The Spirit Of Endeavour - Review

It's been a while since i last went to The Spirit Of Endeavour in Boston, UK.
I went with my boyfriend Shane as we like to try and go out for something to eat at least once a week. It's nice to go out together and go out for a meal.

As i have had to change my diet and cut out a lot of foods, it has been really hard recently when i have gone out to find something that i can eat!
A lot of restaurants will not let me have something that it plain or no sauce on because that is how it comes!

So anyway i looked at the menu and found they had prawn cocktail for starters :) my favorite as i love prawns! I asked if i could just have plain prawns and salad with the slice of brown bread, which they said would be fine. I enjoyed it so much i forgot to take a photo of it before i ate it! But here is a photo below of an empty dish to show you how much i did like it As you can also see in the photo below Shane had Nacho's which is all he ever eats for starters! At least he enjoys them! I looked at what i would be able to have for main course and i found, Sweet Chili Salmon Salad. I asked if i could have no dressing on the salad and they said that was fine, although i did try a little bit of the sweet chili on the salmon. To drink i had a glass of orange juice which was really refreshing.

The Salmon was lovely, you also got a lot for your money, as the offer was by 2 meals for £10.
It was presented on the plate really nicely and was very yummy.
Shane had the chicken melt for his main which is the chicken covered in bbq sauce, bacon and cheese. He loved this. Again all he eats when he goes out! :)

Unfortunately i am a bit stuck when it come to desserts as everything usually has dairy in, but i was very full to even think of dessert as the starter and main meal was lovely.

The staff here are very friendly and are always there to help and the food doesn't take long at all to come out, i have had to wait nearly an hour before at some places just to get my meal.
They have a wide range of different meals to choose from, and the dining area is huge so there is plenty of space for everyone. The also have a long bar with a lot of different choices for drinks.
It is also very very clean.

I will definitely be going back there real soon to have the salmon again, i thoroughly enjoyed it as did Shane with his meal.

Beauty: Drugstore haul and reviews

The first product in which I purchased was the Hydraluron Moisture Booster.

I first saw this product on many YouTube videos and read great reviews on this product, all I can say is that I love it!! Although there is a lot of information that comes with this product, I first thought should I try this product!! But I can honestly say that I am happy I bought this. Although it is a little pricy as the tube isn't very big, you only need a tiny bit on your finger and then apply to the face and neck. I first started using this serum morning and night and I noticed very quickly how fast this works and that my skin felt really hydrated. I only use this at night time now though in my night time skin routine as I feel I don't need to use it morning and night now. I bought this serum from Boots for £24.99.
I highly recommend this product, I never thought my skin was overly dry but as soon as I put this serum on to my skin, my skin absorbed it straight away. Another thing in which I love is the packaging in which this product comes in, as it goes in to full explanation of what is in this product, how it works and what it does. It also shows you little diagrams inside in the information.

Above I have posted a couple of photos of the tube the serum comes in and also the information on the packaging.

The next product in which I purchased was the Sanctuary Therapists Secret Facial Oil. I love love love this product, it does everything it says it does on the packaging. This product cost me £17.50 for 30ml, but the bottle is a very good size and you only need to use a tiny bit, so this product will last a very long time. I feel that this is very good value for money. My skin feels really soft after I have used it and when I wake up in the morning my skin looks so much better and feels better. I love applying this product to my face and neck. I use it every night in my night time skin routine. I read some great reviews on this product and I totally agree with all of them.

I love the packaging in which this product comes in, and it explains everything on the back what this product does and also the ingredients.

I have been looking for an eye cream that works for ages and this one does just that. I purchased the Boots Vitamin E Gentle Eye Cream. It also contains SPF 15 which is a bonus. I have noticed a huge improvement on my dark shadows and fine lines. This eye cream really brightens up the eye area. This product cost me £2.54 for 15ml.

The last product in which I purchased was the Batiste Dry Shampoo. This product is amazing! I tested it by not washing my hair for 2 days and when I used it each morning my hair felt as though I had just washed it. I also feel better when I have nice clean hair but I don't like to wash it every day because I don't want to damage my hair and using heat products. This Product was on offer for £1.99. This one also has a nice smell to it, it isn't strong and overpowering in which I find with some Dry Shampoos. This is the only one that I have found to work on my hair.

Thank you for reading and please let me know of any products in which you use that you love :)

Beauty: The Body Shop - Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover - Review

I bought the Body shop's Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover about a couple of months.

This product costs £8 in store and online.

Packaging:

This product comes  as you see it in the picture above. It is quite attractive and has a very good explanation on the front and back of the product in the bottle of what it does and the ingredients.

Full Ingredients

Aqua (Solvent/Diluent), Glycerin (Humectant), Polysorbate 20 (Emulsifier), Coco-Glucoside (Surfactant), Sodium Cocoamphoacetate (Surfactant), Benzyl Alcohol (Preservative), Phenoxyethanol (Preservative), Sodium Laureth Sulfate (Surfactant), Sodium Chloride (Viscosity Modifier), Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract (Skin-Conditioning Agent), Citric Acid (pH Adjuster), Methylparaben (Preservative), Disodium EDTA (Chelating Agent), Butylparaben (Preservative), Ethylparaben (Preservative), Propylparaben (Preservative), Potassium Sorbate (Preservative), Rosa Damascena Flower Extract (Fragrance Ingredient), Sodium Butylparaben, Sodium Ethylparaben (Preservative), Sodium Methylparaben (Preservative), Sodium Propylparaben (Preservative).

When i applied 'Camomile Gentle Eye Make-Up Remover':

I use cotton wool pads to apply this product to my eyes.
When i first applied this, i noticed how cool and soothing it was on my eyes, and how quickly it takes off the eye make-up. I put the cotton wool pad over my eye and held it there for a few seconds before pulling away, as this gives the product a chance to 'absorb' the eye make-up, I then wiped the left over eye make-up off.

This product also lasts for a very long time, as a little goes a long way. You only need to put a little bit of the product on to a cotton wool pad.

My eyes felt really clean after i first used this product, and i have loved using it ever since. Its great at taking of you eye make-up. The product is also very light on the skin and is very gentle too.

Overall Verdict:

I highly recommend this product as i absolutely love it as a eye make-up remover, I've found it very hard to find a gentle eye make-up remover as good as this one. Ones that i have used in the past have made my eyes very sore and feel dried out, and others don't get rid of all the eye make-up.

I love that this product is fragrance and colour-free, I also love how they use Community Fair Trade camomile oil which comes from Norfolk Essential Oils, a family-run co-operative in England. It is made with freshly cut flowers, steam-pressed and cooled to produce essential oil. This provides the farmers with a reliable income, and has helped to revitalise the local economy.

Pro's:
Cool and Soothing on the eyes,
Very gentle whilst using on the eyes,
Great at removing eye make-up,
Fragrance and colour-free,
Community Fair Trade camomile oil,
Very good value for money, as you only need to use a little bit at a time.

Con's:
None.

I heard some great reviews on this product and now i know why.

I give this product a high 5/5.
I give it this score because i really do love this product, and will continue to buy it.
I highly recommend it.
