This last weekend, i went to V Festival in Stafford... and it was amazing.
Kings of Leon headlined on the Saturday night and Beyoce headlined on Sunday night.
My other favourite artists bands from the weekend that i saw were Lawson, Travis, Two Door Cinema Club, Paloma Faith, The Fratellis, The Vaccines, The Courteeners, Gabrielle Aplin, Everything Everything, Stereophonics.
It was such a great weekend. We camped from the Friday night and left Monday morning.
I went with my best friend Gareth to V Festival, ( Who i am in a band with 'Romantic Idols.')
We were so tired when we got there, as what should have been a 45 minute drive took 6 hours because of the traffic getting in to V festival!
But we didnt mind, we listened to Muse, Arctic Monkeys and The Vaccines whilst waiting!
So it was all good :) This is my third year of going.
Here is a photo of me after we had put the tent up. The weather was lovely on the Friday, on Saturday it rained a bit and was quite cold, but Suday was lovely, it was really hot and didn't rain.
What I wore
I took my new Parka to V with me that i got from Very.co.uk. My bf Shane got me the t-shirt which is from Fire Trap. The wellies are from Internacionale and my shorts are from Collections. I also had another t-shirt that i wore at the weekend, Shane also got me another one which was from Bench, ( I havent got a photo of the other top, but it was lovely. )
The Rucksack is from Primark, i got this a couple of years ago and i also wore long grey socks underneathe my wellies, these were also from Primark.
Where's My Sleeping Bag?
At the time i didn't find it very funny, but i do laugh about it now..... i forgot to take my Sleeping Bag with me!!! Luckily two other people who we went with had a blanket i could borrow, as it got very cold in the night!! Gareth also opened his sleeping bag up for us to share, which was very sweet of him, so i was a lot more warmer in the night. I wont be forgetting my sleeping bag next year!
Oh and i also forgot my memory card for my camera so i couldt take many photos!! :(
