Welcome to another Sunday Thoughts post.
In last weeks Sunday Thoughts, I talked about how age doesn't matter when going to University and also that I am still deciding on what I actually want to do when I finish University, even though I am 25 and will be 26 in March. Although I know what industry I want to work in, I'm still very open minded and I'm fine with that and I'm happy.
I wanted to start this post off with something that people always ask me when I tell them that I travel to University every day. People always assume that I live at/near University and always ask why I don't live In Lincoln, but in fact I travel in everyday, which yes is over 40 miles away, but I really don't mind. I made the decision to stay living at home because it actually works out cheaper for me, I know I have to pay for petrol and carparks but it does actually work out cheaper me doing this. I also wanted to stay living at home, because I am still working part time and my Job is in my hometown. At first I will admit that it did take a little time to get used to driving in everyday, but I'm just used to it now and I am happy driving to Uni and then back home again. I've decided to do a post, which will be coming out soon on my tips on commuting to University, as I have learnt what to do and what not to do, a huge example of this is making sure I get enough sleep! I also have lots of little things that I do and things that I take with me that prepare me for the drive and also during breaks at Uni. I am also going to be doing a few more University posts on different topics very soon.
