Bringing More Positivity Into Your Life

A few ways in which you can bring more positivity into your life...

It is so important to bring more positivity into your life. Recently I have been trying to cut out all negativity. Sometimes people can be so negative and rude and sometimes negativity can crop up in relationships, education and even work, below is a list of things that have helped me and I hope they can help you to.

Unfriend and Unfollow Negative People - I have actually been un-friending and unfollowing people who are very negative. A lot of the time I will see this on social media, so rather than just un-friending the people who are negative, I am also unfollowing all of the negativity online too.

Being Around The Right People - Sometimes as you get older, you discover that some of the people around you, are the ones who are bringing you down. This too can be in relationships. I was in a relationship quite a few years back and it just got to a point where I had to end it.

Don't let anyone try to change you - I have been in relationships where the person I am with just wants me to be a completely different person to who I am. I will not change for anyone. After the relationships ended it made me realise that I love me, for who I am.

You Can Do It - Always believe in yourself. Sometimes people like putting other people down. I've learned over the years to just not listen to those people. As long as you believe in yourself, then that's all that matters.

Being Motivated - Recently I have been around people who have made me feel that I am useless. But I really don't have time for people like that, so it makes me realise that I don't want to be around that person anymore. When this happens, I like to think, 'Hey, you got into University, you are doing well.' This keeps me motivated.

Make Goals - I like to make lists of goals of what I want to achieve in life. This helps to give me a much more positive outlook on life. I like to start off with small goals and then move on to bigger goals. For example some smaller goals of mine are to, eat more healthily, try to go for more walks and to go out with friends more. Bigger goals for me are, doing well at University and what job I want to get after University.

Make Other People Happy - Making people happy, can make not only the other person feel good, but also make you feel good too. I love giving people compliments. It's nice to brighten up someone else's day.

Remind Yourself Of Positive Things That Have Happened - Thinking about the positive things can make you feel a lot more positive in general. I like to make a list of all of the things that I have achieved and this automatically makes me feel more positive.

Learning To Love Yourself - I have been trying more recently to love me for who I am. Sometimes it's so easy to think up something negative about yourself, but I am learning not to do that anymore. I like to think of the things I like about myself.

Do The Things You Love To Do - This is probably one of the most important things on the list. Doing the things you love can help you to feel much happier. For example, I love listening to music, watching TV shows on Netflix, watching a good film, going out with friends and being around family. Although these are just a few everyday things, they make me feel happy.

Always remember, you are beautiful and amazing :)

What are your tips for bringing more positivity into your life?
