Life Lately - University, Blogging & Happy Things
It's been a while since I've done a proper good update on my blog, so I thought it's about time I did one. Things have just been a little busy recently and I have really missed writing on my blog. So todays post is just a little bit of what I've been up to recently along with a list of things that have been making me happy.
I've have recently started back at university, and I'm now in my third and last year! I just can't believe that it's been three years already! It feels like only yesterday that I was sitting amongst all my fellow students listening to the welcome talk and meeting everyone. If you don't already know, I study Audio Production at the University of Lincoln. I'm currently doing my first project for year three and my dissertation.
As I mentioned above, you may have noticed that I haven't been blogging as much recently, mainly due to being busy. But I have really missed blogging so much and writing this blog post now, makes me realise just how much I have missed it and love blogging. I'm definitely going to try my very best to get blogging lots more
Sometimes I do worry that people won't like what I'm blogging about. There's so much I want to say on my blog, but I just can't find the confidence to write it. Anyone else feel like this? But starting from today I want to change that and write about things that I really want to write about and share with you on my blog. I want my blog to be more me, if that makes sense.
I think it's good to write about the things that make you happy, so I wanted to share with you some of the things that have been making me feel happy recently and add them in to this post.
Happy Things -
Gilmore Girls.
I haven't actually started watching the new episodes that have just come out on Netflix yet, mainly because I'm still watching the previous episodes still. But as soon as I heard that they were making new Gilmore Girls episodes, I was so excited. I am obsessed with the show. So at the moment I'm trying not to view any spoilers!
Christmas.
Yes it's nearly that time of the year again already. The Christmas songs have been playing, the Christmas trees are going up, I've seen some houses with pretty lights up already and the Coca Cola advert has been on TV! As soon as that advert come on TV I know it's Christmas! I've actually got the Christmas playlist playing on Spotify as I write this. Too early?! I've also been debating whether to try Blogmas again this year. Hmmm, maybe I will. Please let me know in the comments if you are going to do Blogmas, I really enjoyed reading other peoples blogmas posts last year.
2 Month Anniversary.
I just had to add this one in here. Chris and I have been together two months now. We've been to the zoo which was so much fun. I went out for a meal with him and his family, which I really enjoyed and we've had nice cosy nights in watching TV.
Pokemon.
I am obsessed with Pokemon, so I just had to get the new game. It's awesome. I may have played it a little too much already, but I regret nothing, haha! Also if your wondering, I went for Pokemon Moon. I would love to know if you have got the new Pokemon game?
Books.
One book I have recently read that I really enjoyed is a book called The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid. This is a brilliant and very well written book. I didn't want to put it down, I wanted to keep reading more and more. As my anxiety has been quite bad again recently, reading has really helped me, especially when on the train. Once I start reading, I forget about everything else round me. Yes, I almost missed my stop a couple of times! But it makes going on the train that little bit better, especially when the train is really busy, and most of the time the train I get is. I love opening a book and walking through that doorway into a new adventure.
M&S Dairy, Wheat and Gluten free.
This may be a bit of a random one to add in, but it's one that has made me very happy. Being dairy, what and gluten free, it can be very hard to go in search for some lunch, especially when your in a rush and you don't have time to get anything ready before you leave. I recently went in M&S and in the chilled section they had some free from ready made sandwiches. My favourites are the BLT one and the prawn one. They are delicious. They also a very yummy free from section with tortilla chips and chocolate. I can actually go somewhere to get something quick for lunch whilst at uni. Just little things like this make me very happy .
If you have anxiety what helps you? Also I would love to know what your happy things are?
