Do You Believe In Fairies?

I love, love, love Disney, I have done ever since I was little. I've always loved Bambi and Tinker Bell. I think one my most favourite Disney films though has to be Bedknobs and Broomsticks. I love that film, I remember owning it on video and it was always the first video I went to, to put on.
I think my next favourite Disney film is Cinderella, I've always loved Cinderella, she's definitely one of my favourite Disney Princesses. I also love The Haunted Mansion film with Eddie Murphy in. I remember when I was a lot younger and my mum and dad took me to Disney World, they couldn't keep me off The Haunted Mansion ride! Definitely one of my my favourite rides at Disney, I also love Splash Mountain, which is like a 10 minute ride and I loved so much.

How gorgeous are these two beauty bags?
I picked these two beauties up on my trip to Primark. The first one really caught my eye as I love Tinker Bell, especially as it says on the bag 'Do you believe in fairies?' I haven't actually put anything inside the Tinker Bell one yet, as I'm still deciding what to put in it.
The next beauty bag I absolutely love, I didn't even decided whether to get this one, I just simply picked it up and off I went to the till. I've actually decided to use this little beauty for my make up, although I am going to keep my brushes in a separate bag with my more messier make up, as I know what I'm like and I cant bare to get this little Bambi bag dirty.
I've really been loving all of the beauty bags in Primark lately, although I do have quite a few, I love getting them because they come in really handy to put things in, as I can be a little messy and everything ends up everywhere!

Please let me know in the comment section below if you have recently picked up some really cute beauty bags.

From my last blog post, you may know that I went camping with my friend Emma, we had a brilliant time. Click here for my last blog post to see what was keeping awake during the night! (We still don't know what it was.) We went on holiday to Tewkesbury, such a beautiful town, with lots of shops. Emma and I decided to go camping as we both love it, (well apart from putting up the tent and taking it down again!) Luckily there was a lovely couple who helped us put up the tent. We had practiced putting it up before hand but we had a little trouble putting it up when we got there. Also just after the tent was put up, it started to rain, but other than that, we had some lovely weather.

Emma and I had a lovely walk in to the town and we decided to pop in Superdrug to have a look around and get some essentials. I was so happy when I saw the whole complete Zoella Beauty range. Having a little bit of holiday spending money I just had to pick up a few things from the range. I decided to get the Zoella Guinea Pig Beauty Bag, the Zoella Cosmetic Purse and the Zoella Lets Spritz Body Mist (which smells so amazing.) I have been wearing the body mist so much, I love it. Everything is super cute and I can't wait to get more of the Zoella Beauty range.

I love, love, love the Guinea Pig Beauty bag, it's so cute. I currently have my face creams in it at the moment. I just can't get over how gorgeous the beauty bag is. I really didn't know which one to get and I really liked the other two beauty bags, but as I love guinea pigs it was only right that I chose this one. Next I got the cosmetic purse which really caught my eye (not just because it's pink!) I really love the design on it. Lastly I got the body mist, which let me tell you, smells so good, It really does. I have been wearing the body mist so much since I bought it and wore it everyday on holiday.

Please let me know in the comment section below which products you love from the Zoella Beauty Range.

You may have seen that Clemloves has been a little quiet the last week, I went on holiday with my friend Emma, I had a brilliant time. I decided to have a little break and start blogging again today. I decided not to schedule any posts and give Clemloves a little holiday too.

For  a long while now I have been wanting to treat myself to some new blushers. Having very pale skin I often find it hard to find a blusher that will suit my skin tone. I recently went to Superdrug to have a look to see what I could find. I found myself at the section that had lots of beautiful products by Sleek MakeUp. I've never actually owned any products by them but I have often been looking at them online. I decided to go for (with a little help from my mum) Rose Gold and Pixie Pink, how gorgeous are they. The Rose Gold one is quite pigmented which I love and the Pixie Pink one is more matte. I am in love with these two blushes, I'm definitely going to be going back and see what else I can find. At £4.49 and for how much product you get these are great, and they last all day on my skin. I am now definitely 100% a huge fan of Sleek MakeUP and I highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already, I really wish I had of tried these blushers sooner.

I would love to know what your favourite products by Sleek MakeUp are?

5 Beauty Mistakes I Used to Make

kaboompics.com_Professional make-up tools
(source)

I do still have a few bad beauty habits that I am not proud of, (I may still forget to was my brushes regularly) I have learnt as I have gotten older what to do and what not to do. Here are 5 beauty mistakes that I used to make...

1. Make Up Brushes.
I have always been terrible when it comes to washing make up brushes. I still slip up sometimes now, like last night for instance, I thought to myself, 'right time to clean them', but as per usual I forgot. I hate to admit this this, but sometimes I used to leave them up to over a month without washing them! I know, I know, not the most hygienic and my face does feel it a few days later when a few blemishes appear. This is definitely one bad habit I had and still need to improve on. I want to try and get in to the habit of doing them weekly.

2. Eyebrows
I was one of those people, who at the time when everyone seemed to be doing it, decided that really thin eyebrows was the way to go. Although I must admit I may have gone a little bit mad with them and ended up with a little line above each eye. Not the best look I must say!  Even now my eyebrows are still suffering from my over-plucking of them. Now I love much thicker eyebrows and after years of continuously plucking lots of little hairs from above my eyes, I have been letting them grow, they are now much fuller now and I plan to keep them that way.

3. Foundation
Just thinking about it now makes me cringe! I remember when I first wanted to start wearing foundation and decided that I knew best which shade to get. Well, you can imagine the outcome. It was only when people started asking me why I had a thick orange line around my neck that I actually decided to look in a mirror and realise what they were talking about. I really had no idea on which shade to get, so I decided to ask my mum and she helped me choose the next one, which was so much better and I said goodbye to the orange lines. Now that I am much older I know which shade suits me best and if I am a little unsure I will ask someone.

4. Eyeliner
I have always loved eyeliner, I feel that it really makes my eyes stand out more. When I was younger I used to go mad with the eyeliner. I would use a pencil eyeliner but it used to end up getting all smudged and looked messy. Now I know how much eyeliner to put on and I have found that liquid eyeliner works best for me as my skin can sometimes get quite oily. I love using mascara, so I found what works best for me, is applying a little eyeliner and then to just simply put on some mascara, my eyes look so much better and feel better for it.

5. Swapping and changing products constantly.
I was always buying different products for my face, for example, face creams, cleansers and toners. I remember when I was younger I tried so many different products I ended up with dry skin all over my face, I had to go to a pharmacy to get some cream as it got so bad. Now I look for products that I know will agree with my skin and I don't keep keep swapping and changing as my skin really doesn't like it. Now I like to use products that are ok for sensitive skin and I am not just buying a product because it is new out, I always like to look at reviews of a product first and what the ingredients are before purchasing.

What are your beauty mistakes that you used to make?

Batiste Dry Shampoo | Eden

I am a huge fan of dry shampoos but my favourite brand to use is definitely Batiste. I have wrote this blog post purely because I love their products. I previously wrote about one of their dry shampoos a while back and I recently discovered this new limited edition one a couple of weeks ago. This is the Eden dry shampoo and has a sugar melon and honeysuckle scent. I am obsessed with the smell of this one, as soon as I sprayed I could smell the sweetness of the ingredients and the smell lasts all day. I love it. Another reason why I love this one, as you have already probably guessed, is the design on the bottle, how cute are those birds and flowers. The bottle is gorgeous. I'm 100% going to be stocking up on this. I just hope that they will still continue to do this one. I just can't get over how good it smells. As like the other Batiste dry shampoos, this one really helps my hair to keep looking nice and fresh, whilst making it smell so good. I've tried a lot of dry shampoos over the years but I have always gone back to Batiste, and I'm not just saying that. They always usually have some type of offer on them too so they are a great buy and a bottle usually lasts me quite a long while as a little goes a long way.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

It's been so long since I have done a review on a beauty product, so I thought it's about time I did one. I have actually had quite a few products lined up for a while now that I am going to review. Although Clemloves has become more of a lifestyle and food blog over the last few months, I still love trying out new beauty products and writing about them.

For a quite a few months now I have been using the Micellar Cleansing Water by Garnier, and you know what, I LOVE it! After reading so many great reviews about the Micellar Cleansing Water, I thought it's about time that I tried it.

(I have bought this bottle of Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water out of my own money and I am reviewing it simply because I love it so much.)

One of the main reasons I love about this product, after using it for a few months now, is that each time I use it, it removes my make up so easily. As this cleansing water is perfume free it doesn't have any fragrance, but thats ok, because I am a huge fan of fragrance free products. I feel that they are a lot kinder to the skin as I have eczema. This product comes in a very generous 400ml size bottle. This stuff lasts for ages and at only £3.32 from Superdrug, this product is a bargain.

For years I have swapped and changed my skin care products as I have never truly found one that works for me. After finding this cleansing water by Garnier I haven't looked at other cleansers since. There are three different types of the Ganier Micellar Cleansing Water, but I especially love this one as it is perfect for my skin. I have combination type skin but my skin is quite prone to getting oily and I do have quite sensitive skin, so its perfect! I love the fact that I can just use this product to take off my make up and then move straight on to my serum and cream.

Another thing I love about this product (There are so many things I love about this!) is that it has very few ingredients:
Aqua / Water, Hexylene Glycol, Alcohol Denat. Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Disodium EDTA, Poloxamer 184, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide.
I feel so much better knowing that I am not piling loads of ingredients on to my skin.

To use this Micellar Cleansing Water, all I do is pop some of the product on to a cotton wool pad and then simply remove my make and then my eye make up. I then get a clean cotton wool pad, pop some more product on to it to get any bits of make up off that I may have missed. You don't need to use much at all as a little goes a long way.

I highly recommend this Micellar Cleansing Water by Garnier. Have you tried any of the Garnier ones or another brand?

BareMinerals

As my latest search began for a new foundation, it ended with me heading to my local Boots store. Being a BareMinerals virgin, I've often pondered at the idea of trying this brand. Having heard so many good things about using a mineral powder foundation, I decided to give it a try.
My main aim when finding a foundation is, 'Will I find one light enough to fit my skin tone?' I have always found it hard to find a foundation to suit my skin tone, as I have very fair skin. I learnt my lesson a long while ago whilst still at school, was to make sure I pick the correct foundation for my skin tone. Having orange lines around your neck is no fun! So many years later I have come to the conclusion that maybe I would be better off with a powder foundation. They never really appealed to me before as I like foundation to cover spots and imperfections and to me I always thought that a powder foundation would not do this. But I overcome my fears of this and purchased a few items from the BareMinerals counter.

After a quick tester to see which foundation suited my skin tone I decided to go for the BareMinerals foundation in Light. I also decided to get the started pack so i was able to try out a few other of their products. In the pack I got the original Mineral Veil Finishing Powder and the Warmth All-OverFace Colour, that are in the photos above. In the pack I got 3 make up brushes which I am obsessed with, they apply the powder so well and don't malt. I use the Full Flawless Face brush to apply the foundation and the Finishing Powder and I use the Flawless Face brush to apply the Warmth All-Over Face Colour. In the pack was a little tube of Prime Time, which is an amazing primer.

I purchased separately the BareMinerals Stroke Of Light Eye Brightener as I wanted something to hide those dark circles. I use the brush on the left hand side in the photo to apply this. I love the Eye Brightener as it really does cover those dark circles, I highly recommend checking it out.

I also got given a couple of samples to try, the BareMinerals Flawless Definition Mascara and a tester of a little compact foundation. The shade in this is quite a bit darker than my skin tone though. This included the little brush that come with it in the photo above.

I highly recommend checking out the BareMinerals range, since using it I have noticed a real improvement in my skin and I am now obsessed with mineral products. The foundation lasts all day and covers up imperfections really well. You don't need to use much of each product, so they will last a long time.

St Ives | Timeless Skin Daily Microdermabrasion Face Scrub

I am a huge fan of the St. Ives face scrubs as they are perfect for my sensitive skin. The one in the photos above is the Timeless Skin Daily Microdermabrasion Face Scrub. Microdermabrasion treatment are known to improve the skins texture and also reduce the appearance of fine lines. This scrub contains micro-fine mineral crystals that gently exfoliate the skin for a younger looking re-surfaced complexion. This also helps to keep the skin glowing and looking radiant. This scrub also contains camomile, vitamin E and 100% natural extracts. It is formulated without parabens and phthalates.

To use this scrub I moisten my face with water and then put some of the product on to my fingers and gently massage all over my face. I then rinse off and pat dry with a towel. I use this every other day. I find that using a scrub helps to get rid of any blemishes I have and blackheads. This scrub is gentle enough on my skin and does not cause any irritation.

Have you used any of the St. Ives face scrubs?

Simple Moisturising Facial Wash

I recently decided to switch back to Simple skincare products, I love trying out different brands but unfortunately there are a lot of products out there that my skin just doesn't like. I have always loved Simple, mainly because they have no artificial perfume or colour and contain vitamins. Simple basically has everything I look for in a product.

Above in the photos is the Simple Moisturising Facial Wash. This is from their Kind To Skin Range. It is 100% soap free and has no perfume or colour and contains vitamins. This face wash is great for sensitive skin. I find that this  does not irritate my skin at all and leaves my it feeling soft and refreshed. Another reason why I love the Simple range that I forgot to mention, is that their products are inexpensive. Usually when you pop in to your local drug store such as Boots and Superdrug, or even your local supermarket, you will always find Simple skincare products on offer. Mainly on a 3 for 2 or sometimes their products only cost £1.99 which is such a bargain. If your looking for a different brand to try and your on a budget, I highly recommend checking out Simple.

I usually use this face wash in the morning and again at night. For my night time routine I like to take off my eye make up and face make up first then use the face wash afterwards. This is just how I like to cleanse my skin at night. I just apply a small amount on my fingers and then apply to my face and massage gently in small circles. Then I rinse it off and gently pat dry with a towel. Since using this face wash along with the other products I use from the Simple skincare range, I have noticed a great improvement with my skin as I was having quite a few breakouts. Please let me know in the comment section below whether you have tried any of the Simple skincare products.

Christmas At Lush

I was super excited when I found out that Lush was going to be bringing out their Christmas stock (Two things I love, Christmas and Lush.) So it was only fitting that I went to my local store to have a peek. As I walked in I was mesmerised with the gorgeous scent that was drifting towards me and the beautiful colours of the bath products. I have a huge love for Lush stores because every single member of staff are so nice and friendly and always there to help. I went straight over to right hand side where the majority of the Christmas stock was and was I blown away by how colourful everything was.

I also got the chance to see a demonstration of the bath bomb Northern Lights, which let me tell you, it smells amazing. With scents of Jasmine and Ylang Ylang this is a very relaxing and calming bath bomb, bursting with colours. What I also love about this bath bomb, is that once in water and this beauty starts fizzing away, lots of little stars start swirling around your bath. How great is that. Not only do you the magnificent show of colours, you also get stars. I loved it so much I even bought a couple for my mum and myself.
A few of my favourites were definitely The Christmas Penguin, The Christmas Hedgehog, Dashing Santa, Father Christmas, Butter Bear and Drummers Drumming.

Photos taken by myself at the Lush store in Lincoln.

Keep A Secret - Rimmel London Vinyl Lipgloss

I love a good sparkly lipgloss, so recently when I was on the hunt for one I came across this beauty.
This is the Rimmel London Vinyl Lipgloss in the shade Keep A Secret (Love the name of this gloss.) I am obsessed with lipgloss that have that little bit of glitter in them.

Rimmel London says -
Amplify your lips ! Up to 80% more shine with Magnifying Vinyl Shine complex.

Formula with vitamins A, C, E and Shea Butter for protected lips that feel
moisturised.
Non-sticky formula.

What I think -
This lipgloss is in my handbag at all times. I love it. It applies really easily to  my lips and I don't find this gloss sticky at all. It also has quite a nice scent to it too. I find that it lasts quite a long time on my lips and leaves them looking all nice and shiny and sparkly. There 6 others to choose from, I am also loving the one in the shade Be Famous, so I really want to get my hands on that.

The other shades that this lipgloss comes in are - Take A Chance, Pin Up, Snog, Cosmic and Crystal Clear.
Highly recommend checking these out.

You can buy this Vinyl Lipgloss from Superdrug for £4.99.

Makeup Academy - Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter

I have been on the hunt recently for a inexpensive skin highlighter and knowing that Makeup Academy do amazing products at bargain prices I decided to have a look at their range in my local Superdrug. As soon as I bought this I had a look online to have a look at reviews and I found so many great ones and how much people love this product. I have bought items from this brand before and I have loved every single one of them. My favourite being the One Direction lipsticks, you can find my post on one of these beauties that I did a while back. I knew straight away that I was going to love this shimmer highlighter.

Makeup Academy say:
Undress your Skin Highlighting Powder is a lightweight baked powder designed to provide sheer coverage and a radiant soft-focus effect to transform your complexion with luminescence shimmer.
The Undress Your Skin Highlighting Powder perfects any look by creating a natural, healthy glow that is suitable for all skin tones.
What I think:
As you can see in the photo above it is very pigmented which I love. It applies really easy to the skin and leaves a really nice but subtle shimmer. To apply this I use my Bubbi make up brush. I highly recommend checking this product out and also checking out the brand in general if you haven't done so already. Their products are such great value and their lipsticks are only £1 and most of their products are under £5 anyway.

You can buy this highlighter from you local super drug that stock Makeup Academy products and also online here. This costs just £3 which is such a great bargain, you get so much product in it and it is just an all round amazing highlighter.

Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Chic

I am a huge fan of Tanya Burr so it was only normal when I got super excited about Tanya's lipgloss and nail polish collection. Ever since Tanya launched her Lipgloss collection I just couldn't wait to get my hands on one. I made my way to Superdrug to pick one up, I knew straight away which one I wanted. The one I chose is the one in 'Chic' which is absolutely gorgeous. I am obsessed when it comes to lip gloss and Ive always been fond of a nude lip. This colour is perfect for my lips and is just amazing. Ive read and heard so many great reviews on these lip glosses and how lovely they look on your lips. I was super excited to try it when I got home (such cute packaging.)

There are 12 lip glosses in total and come in the shades -
Smile, Dream, Sparkle - Champagne Toast - First Date - Just Peachy - Afternoon Tea - Chic - Picnic In The Park - Aurora - Exotic Island - Let's Travel The World - Heart Skipped A Beat - Vampire Kiss.

What I love about the Tanya Burr lipgloss in Chic -
To be honest i love everything about this gloss, from the packaging to the shade to the scent (these beauties smell so good.) I found that this applies to my lips really easy and a little goes a long way. I love how once applied this leaves my lips feeling very moisturised.
