How (Not) To Date A Prince by Zoe May | Blog Tour and Extract

Happy Saturday! I hope you had an awesome May the 4th, beings it was Star Wars Day. I would love to know if you went to any Star Wars themed parties or celebrated the day watching Star Wars films! I also hope that you have an amazing bank holiday weekend. Mine is going to be spent writing and taking photos, meeting up with my best friend and watching lots and lots of Netflix! (Just in case you were wondering, I'm most likely going to be watching lots of episodes of Friends)! What are you up to this weekend?

Today's blog post is all about How (Not) To Date A Prince by Zoe May. Keep on scrolling to check out an extract of chapter 1 from the book, your gonna love it. I really wanted to create a type of Princess theme in my photos to go alongside this blog post, so I found this sparkly tiara and also put Chip into the photo too. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I was when I found this Chip cup in Primark. I didn't get one the last time the Chip cups came out, so as soon as I see this Chip blowing bubbles one, I literally just grabbed it straight off the shelf! I am just loving at how much Disney stuff Primark have currently got in at the moment, I love it!

If you head on down to the bottom of this post, I've added the blog tour banner so you can check out all of the other blogs taking part in this tour. I was kindly sent this book to read and I am so honoured to be part of this tour for How (Not) To Date A Prince. Definitely a book I highly recommend checking out and reading. Just look at how gorgeous the front cover is! Zoe May is also the author of Perfect Match, which I can't wait to check out too, it looks and sounds so good. You can find Zoe over on Twitter at @zoe_writes.

A Breath After Drowning by Alice Blanchard | Blog Tour

Hey there! I hope you are having a lovely week. It's almost the weekend! Today my boyfriend and I had a little look around Peterborough, as he had to take his car to be serviced. You just have to have a look at the shops if you're going to Peterborough! It's only about half an hour drive, so it's just up the road. Anyway, we decided to have a look at Queensgate shopping centre. So it was only right that I went to have a quick look in Primark! I went straight to the homeware section, as I've been looking for the Marie collection for a while now. They only had the Marie trinket dish, so I just had to get it! I will definitely be adding it to some of my blog photos! I also found another little trinket dish too. We had a little look at a few other shops and then went home.

Today I'm back with a brand new book review. I'm very honoured to be apart of the A Breath After Drowning* blog tour. This book is by Alice Blanchard and came out on the 10th April and is published by Titan Books. I've also added the blog tour poster at the bottom of this post, where you can find all of the other bloggers who are taking part on this blog tour too. As you can see from the photos, the copy which I was kindly sent was an advanced review copy. Firstly, here's a little bit about the author. Alice Blanchard won the Katherine Anne Porter Prize for Fiction for her book of stories, The Stuntman's Daughter. Her first novel, Darkness Peering was also named one of the New York Times Book Review's Notable Books. Alice's second novel is called The Breathtaker and was an official selection of the NBC Today Book Club. Having previously not read any novels by Alice before, I was very excited to read this one.

Happy Tuesday! Yep, it's a brand new week already, which means it's time for a brand new blog post. I hope you had a great weekend and that you are having a great week so far. I'm currently sat snuggled up in a blanket on the sofa keeping warm, TV on and enjoying some beef stew that my boyfriend made for me. I'm definitely getting ready for some warmer weather now. I love Spring so much. I've been really loving listening to the birds outside my window in the mornings. It's so nice now that the evenings are getting lighter too. I've got my summer clothes just wanting to be worn! But until that comes, I'm very comfy here just sat with a nice warm blanket around me!

The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare | Blog Tour, Review and Extract

Happy Thursday everyone! It's almost time for the weekend. What have you got planned? I think mine is mostly going to be spent resting, writing blog posts, taking photos, watching some weekend TV, of course, and also catching up on reading blog posts and watching YouTube videos. Also not forgetting The Celebrity Back Off too. I've also been spending quite a bit more time on Instagram lately, as I am really enjoying watching Instagram stories at the moment. I was quite a huge Snapchat fan for quite some time, but the new update has really confused me a little, so I've mainly just been watching Instagram stories. I actually really want to do a live video on Instagram, I'm a bit nervous at the thought of doing one, but when Periscope was quite popular a while back, I started doing the occasional one on there, and I actually really enjoyed it. So it's kind of on my list of things I want to do, so watch this space. Anyway, enough of my ramblings. On to the blog post...

I hope you are having a lovely week so far and that you have a lovely weekend. I'm really looking forward to the warmer weather and light nights now. I do love this time of year, when it gets to round about now, I'm just looking forward to getting out the t-shirts, shorts and playsuits! I also just want to quickly mention, that I currently have a giveaway going on, on my blog. You can win a copy of Spare and Found Parts by Sarah Maria Griffin. There are 2 copies to be won.

For as long as I can remember I've always been very fond of poems. I've loved reading them over the years, even writing ones myself. I love the way that you can create either a short or long poem, be creative with them and create something deep and meaningful with words. The book in the photos above and below is The 1st Diary Poems by Prudee M. It's been so long since I have read a poetry book, but this one has definitely made me want to read more poems, even to start writing my own again.

Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon | Book Review

Everything Everything is most definitely on my list of my most favourite books that I have read in 2017. A few nights were spent reading this until quite late at night. It's a book that I had been meaning to read for some time, especially when the film version came out, as I do like to read the book first. Having known a little a bit about the this book and after hearing so much about it, I was so happy when I received this book as a present from my boyfriend. I have still yet to watch the film, but if it's anything like the book, then it's gonna be good.

"This is the story of the thrill and heartbreak that ensues when we break out of our shell to do crazy, sometimes death-defying things for love.
Madeline Whittier is allergic to the outside world.  So allergic, in fact, that she has never left the house in all of her seventeen years.
But when Olly moves in next door, and wants to talk to Maddy, tiny holes start to appear in the protective bubble her mother has built around her.
Olly writes his IM address on a piece of paper, shows it at her window, and suddenly, a door opens.
Maddy is certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It's almost certainly going to be a disaster."

My Not So Perfect Life by Sophie Kinsella | Book Review

I hope you had a lovely Christmas and that you have a happy new year. My Christmas day was spent relaxing, eating lots of turkey and cranberry sauce and watching Harry Potter. I also may have had a nap too! I can't believe how quick it's already over, although, it's still technically Christmas. To me it is anyway. We've still got all of the decorations up and the Christmas blog header is staying up a little longer yet!

Todays book review is My Not So Perfect Life by Sophie Kinsella. I didn't really know anything about this book before purchasing it, but as soon as I read the description, I just had to get it. I actually got this from the airport before going to Mexico, as I didn't bring a book with me and really wanted one to read on holiday. I am so happy that I got this book as it's on my list of my top favourite books of 2017. I absolutely love this book and it was such a joy to read and is brilliantly written. I just love it when a book I've read really sticks in my mind for ages after reading it, when that happens, you know it's a good book!

The Keeper Of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan | Book Review

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great week. I am really excited to share with you a new book review on Clemloves. This book is definitely on my list of my most favourite books I have read. My boyfriend recently picked up this book, The Keeper Of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan for me to read and I'm so happy he got me it. This is a book that I have really enjoyed reading and really love. I didn't really know anything about this book before reading it, but straight away after reading the back description of the book, I was very excited to start reading it. I was also automatically drawn to the front cover, with its beautiful design.

There's nothing better than having a nice cosy night in with a hot chocolate and a good book. Straight away as soon as I started reading, I knew I was going to love this book and I just wanted to keep reading more and more. I just kept thinking about the story and what might happen next.

Hi everyone! It's currently 3:58 in the afternoon and I am sat here about to write this post and eat bowl of cereal! Five Favorite Retellings by Christina Henry | Lost Boy Blog Tour

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a lovely week so far. I am so excited to share with you 'My Five Favorite Retellings by Christina Henry. A while back I reviewed Lost Boy by Christina Henry, you can view the post here. If you have already read my review, you may remember me writing this...

"I was very excited when I received this book in the post. Although I am someone who loves the Disney tales of these stories, I'm also quite interested in reading different takes on them. As we know, some the original stories of our favourite fairytales, before they were made in to Disney films, have changed a lot over the years, some very dark and quite different to how we know them today. Christina Henry has reimagined the world of Neverland from J.M. Barrie's dark classic of Peter Pan and we read the story from the perspective of Peter's first and best lost boy Jamie."

Well, in todays post, Christina Henry shares with you her favourite story retellings.

Also don't forget to check out the blogs below, who are also part of the Lost Boy Blog Tour.

Mad Girl by Bryony Gordon | Book Review

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a lovely weekend. I'm back with a brand new book review post today. It's been a while but I'm back again. I decided to spend a little time away from blogging and posting regular on social media. I think sometimes it's just something we need to do from time to time. I have been struggling with my anxiety and OCD a lot recently, but I am determined to win. I just needed a little break, it also made me realise how much I have missed blogging. A little while ago I shared on a blog post, three pieces of audio that I created for my third year audio project. You can listen to them here. In two of the audio pieces, I did them on anxiety and OCD. I would love to know what think of them. I wanted to create something to show my experiences and how having OCD and anxiety effects me personally. I've recently started having CBT sessions. So far I am finding them to be very helpful and also very interesting, in learning more about OCD and also learning more about myself, if that makes sense.

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a lovely weekend. I can't believe with are now in April! It's also April Fools day too. I have seen quite a few April Fools jokes already and some I did fall for! Hopefully we will have some more nice weather coming. At the moment I'm snuggles up on my bed in my dressing gown typing and eating cookies! Maybe just a few too many cookies!

I've got a little pile either side of my bed waiting to be read, I'm just so excited to read them. I'm slowing getting there with my Goodreads book goal!
