Hi everyone! I hope you are having a lovely weekend. I can't believe how warm it is outside today, it's so nice out. My mum and I went for a ride out today, we took some lunch with us and then sat next to the river while we ate. I love going out and exploring. Sometimes the most beautiful places are right next to you. On the way to where we went, we drove along the river and passed fields of horses, cows and sheep. It was so relaxing and even better with the warm weather. I'm so excited to share with you another Sunday Thoughts post. For todays Sunday Thoughts, I thought that I would share with you what I have been up to lately.
My boyfriend Chris had the week off work so it was really nice to spend some time together. On Friday we decided to go out to the zoo. We went to Twycross zoo. It's been so long since I've been to that zoo. I loved going when I was little. I had a great time looking at all of the animals, especially the Gorillas! One of my other favourite bits was feeding the birds. You go into this building where there are beautiful birds flying about and you can buy a little pot of nectar to give them. As soon as I walked through the door they come flying down to get the nectar. At one point I had one on my shoulder and two on my arm.
This week I wrote about having anxiety and OCD. This is something that I struggle talking to people about so it felt good to write a post about it and share it on my blog. You can read my post here. I am also currently working on and finishing off my audio project for University. I am doing three short pieces of audio, one on anxiety, one on OCD and one on autism, so this next week is mainly going to be spent getting them finished off. Recently it feels that my OCD and anxiety is slowly starting to take over more and more, but I'm determined not to let it. I start CBT at the end of the month, I've been waiting quite a long time for it, so hopefully that will help me when I start it.
Also on the blog this week I shared a very delicious post. A fish and chip shop local to me has just started doing gluten free fish and chips. So I went and treated myself to some and they were so delicious. At the moment they are only doing it on the first Tuesday every month, so I'm hoping it becomes popular and they do it every week. That would be amazing. It's been years since I have had some good proper fish and chips. You can read my post here.
