Sunday Thoughts | Clem Loves Is 5 Years Old!

It's only just over 2 weeks until Christmas day! I still need to do some Christmas shopping and get some Christmas cards! But it's on my to-do list for this next week. There is already some houses near where I live that have got their Christmas lights on and they look so pretty. I always used to love going for a drive and looking at all of the lovely Christmas lights and decorations on houses. It just adds that little bit of magic to the air.

As you may have read in the title,I can't believe that my blog is now 5 years old! I still remember creating my blog and writing my first posts. I had however been blogging long before this one, I had a few websites that I created from a young age, but I am so proud of my little blog. It's amazing looking back and seeing how far I have come from my first posts on here. There were a few others, but I deleted them, oops! But you can check out the first post that is published on here still, here. I've also just realised how short my posts used to be!

I feel that the two main things that have improved over the years is my writing and photography. I love taking photos and I have learned so much over the years to improve my photography, I'm still learning even now. I will be doing a post very soon on how blogging has helped me, as I feel it's very important for me to recognise how important my blog is to me and how it has helped me greatly over the last few years. I've never really celebrated how old my blog is each year, but I just think that 5 is an awesome number and I have worked with some amazing brands over the last few years and I'm just really excited to see what is next for my little space on the internet!

It's Crohn's and Colitis Awareness Week

From the 1-7 December, it is Crohn's and Colitis Awareness week. You may have seen that in some of my previous blog posts, I have recently been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease, Crohn's Colitis. I was very poorly and was admitted by my doctor and had to spend some time in Peterborough City hospital, but I am so thankful for all of the amazing care I received whilst in hospital. I was able to get my diagnosis and given medication. I am now making a steady recovery at home.

Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis are often viewed as invisible illnesses. This Awareness Week, it's time to make #MakingTheInvisibleVisible.

It is so important for people to know about and understand more about Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Before my diagnosis, I myself didn't really know much about it. I have learned so much over the past few weeks from the Crohn's and Colitis UK website, there is so much information to look at. If you are looking to find out more, I highly recommend visiting their site. You can also follow Crohn's and Colitis UK over on Twitter. I have also recently subscribed to their membership pack which arrived in the post a few days ago. I will be doing another post very soon on this. I have also joined the Crohn's and Colitis UK forum group on Facebook, which I have found really helpful.

Who's Doing Blogmas This Christmas

I hope you have had a great weekend. Head over to yesterdays blog post to see what I've been up to. I'm currently sat in my PJs watching the X Factor! I can't believe that it's only 3 weeks left until Christmas day. I'm so excited! One thing that I am looking forward to is watching lots of Christmas themed shows on TV. I love Christmas TV. I'm also planning to watch some Christmas films too. On my list to watch so far is Love Actually, I haven't watched this film in so long. I also really want to watch Elf and Home Alone. What are your favourite Christmas films?

For today's post, I am sharing with you a list of bloggers who are doing Blogmas this year. I love reading Blogmas posts. This year I have decided to not do Blogmas myself, but instead, I will be doing a few Christmas themed posts, rather than blogging every day. I absolutely love this time of year, especially when all of the Christmas blog posts come out. I love reading them and looking at all of the Christmas photos, it really makes me feel all Christmassy and gets me in a festive mood. I've already started watching some Vlogmas videos too. I just love them so much. I am really enjoying watching Zoella's Vlogmas videos at the moment. A few of my other favourite YouTuber's are doing Vlogmas too, so I am really excited to watch theirs. I would love to know if you are doing Vlogmas?

Sunday Thoughts | It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

It's December! It's Christmas and I'm so excited. I love this time of year. I've already been wearing my Christmas jumper and listening to some Christmas songs! I've also really been enjoying watching Kirstie's Homemade Christmas on Channel 4. You may have noticed that my photos have got a little bit Christmassy too and over on my Instagram. It's definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas. I was so excited that it was snowing a couple of nights ago. I woke to find my car covered with snow. Unfortunately, it soon melted, but I see photos of other places that had snow. Snow always looks so magical.

This week I have mostly been taking photos again for my blog, I'm currently testing out some new spaces in my room to take photos. As there hasn't been much sunshine I've been moving around my room looking for the perfect spot. I think I may have just found it! I managed to take a few photos for an upcoming post that I am so happy with. It's just little things like that, that really make my day. I've also been looking at softbox lights, if you have any or recommend some, please let me know in the comment section below.

Also this week I did some more cooking and there will be two new recipe posts coming on the blog very soon. I've also got a Christmas themed recipe that I plan on doing this next week. I'm so excited to eat it make it. I would love to know what your favourite things to bake/cook for Christmas are. I've really been enjoying watching cooking shows on TV lately and getting a few ideas.

Whats On My iPhone

It's December 1st! I hope you are having a great day and feeling all Christmassy. If you follow me on Twitter, you may have seen that I have decided to not do Blogmas this year. Instead, I will be doing a few Christmas theme posts instead of doing Blogmas every day. But I will be sharing with you a post very soon on bloggers who are doing Blogmas this year. I love reading Blogmas posts, if you are doing it this year, please leave me your links in the comment section below.

For today's post, I thought that I would share with you what is on my iPhone. I love being nosy and reading these types of posts. You never know what new app you might find. I mostly go to the social media apps on my phone. They are definitely the most used apps! I also have a few games that I love to play too on my phone. Below I have listed my most used apps and ones that are my absolute favourites.

My 15 Favourite Disney Songs

I hope you had a lovely weekend and are having a great Monday. I'm really excited to share with you today a Disney theme post. I've really enjoyed writing this one as I love Disney so much and always have done since a very young age. One thing I do love to do is listen to lots of Disney songs, they make me feel happy. When I was younger I went to Walt Disney World with my mum and dad and I loved it there so much. I would love to be able to go back again one day. Anyway for today's post, even though there are so many more Disney songs that I love listening to, I have written a list of 15 favourite ones. As soon as I listen to these songs they bring back so many good and happy memories. Now I want to watch the films too! Also how cute is the Belle Pop! Vinyl in the photo above. Quite a while back my friend and I went to the Disney Store and I just had to get Belle. I love the little rose she is holding.

Sunday Thoughts | Recipes and More

Welcome to a brand new Sunday Thoughts post. I hope you have had a lovely week and weekend. This week I have mostly been writing blog posts and taking photos. Two of my favourite things to do. I've been using my iPhone 6 camera a lot lately for taking blog photos, so I've been trying to take a few more new ones on my Canon camera as I have really missed using it. I've also been trying to experiment a little with my photos and trying out different things along with props. Doing this has really helped with inspiration for photos.

If you have read my two recipe posts that come out during the week, you will know that diet plays a huge part for me and even more so now. This month I was admitted to hospital and I have been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Diet is something that will continue for me personally, to be very important. I am currently on a low fibre diet. There will be some more recipe posts coming to my blog real soon. You can find the links to both of this week's recipes below.

What I Am Currently Reading and Reading Next

Everything Everything

I love reading books, as you may know already and I have a few books on my list that I am planning to read. I thought I would share with you today a book that I am currently reading and also a book that I will be reading afterwards. If you are looking for something new to read, head over to my book review section on my blog. You never know, you might just find your next favourite book.

The first book I want to talk about is the one I am currently reading, Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon. My boyfriend got me this book whilst I was in hospital this month and I'm so happy he chose this one. He asked me what books there were that I wanted to read and my answer was something with a pretty cover! I just love the front cover on this one.

GlassesShop.com | Review

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great and spooky Halloween. I've got my pumpkin ready to carve! I can't wait to see what costumes everyone is going to be wearing. If you have any Halloween themed blog posts, please leave your links in the comments below.

I have been wearing glasses since a very young age when I started primary school. Over the years I have had so many pairs, I have lost count! Also over the years, I have had lots of different shaped glasses, some more flattering than others. But it's only now that I'm older I know the shape and style that I like the most and I feel best suits the shape of my head. I am very excited to share with you this gorgeous pair of glasses* from GlassesShop.com

A Face In The Crowd | Guest Post

My name is Stephanie Lamont, I was inspired by God a few weeks ago to write the following verses, after visiting a city centre and being shocked, by the number of homeless people there were.

We are appealing for funds to help a homeless couple in our hometown of Spalding, Lincolnshire.  Their names are Jason and Jane.  In a moment you can read about their plight in Jason’s own words, but first, more about this appeal.

Sunday Thoughts | Autumn, Strictly Come Dancing and 5 Happy Things

Hi everyone! I hope you have had a lovely weekend. I'm currently snuggled up in bed with my dressing gown on, watching the X Factor! I've mostly been chilling out this weekend as I've not been at work. So my weekend has mostly consisted of an extra hour or two in bed and watching some of my fave TV shows. I've also been catching up on watching some vlogs too. Now firstly let's talk about Strictly. There are so many amazing dancers. I thought Aston Merrygold was so good. I also really love Debbie McGee. Those legs! I also thought that Ruth Langsford was amazing. I really do like Reverend Richard Coles and his dance partner Dianne Buswell. Their dance was very entertaining. I can't wait for next week!

What I Will Be Watching This Autumn

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great week. As some of you may know Autumn is my favourite season. I love this time of year when you can start getting out your jumpers and scarfs and warm cosy blankets. It's also the perfect time, especially on a cold evening to snuggle up in a blanket and watch some TV. In this post I have listed some of the shows that I am currently watching and ones that are also on my to-watch list this Autumn. I've also added a couple that will be coming out very soon, that I am really excited to watch.

Im also so excited to share with you today, the new brand new Panasonic 4K TV, with a sleek design and a beautifully bright, colourful display. Brand new for 2017, the 4K TV will give you an amazing viewing experience for all of your favourite films and shows capturing every detail. You are able to have your very own cinema experience at home. The Televisions are beautifully designed and I highly recommend checking them out.

Sunday Thoughts | Late Night Chat

Hi everyone! I hope you have had a wonderful weekend. I'm a little bit late writing this post today, but better late than never! I'm so happy right now, because Home Alone is on TV. I love that film, definitely one of my favourites. I always get so emotional at the end of it. I'm feeling all Christmasy now! I'm also snuggled up under the duvet with Jasper (the dog) sleeping next to me. Actually I say he's sleeping, he's just woke up and he doesn't seem to want me to write this post now, haha! He is demanding lots of cuddles. I love this time of year. I also watched The Smurfs movie too today, I used to love watching The Smurfs when I was younger. I just can't believe I haven't watched the film sooner.

I've Graduated | My Graduation Day

Hi everyone! I hope you have a lovely day. If you follow me on Twitter you may have seen me tweeting about my graduation. I graduated on Tuesday 5th September. It was truly a magical evening. You can watch the ceremony here. You can see me at about 57:23. It was definitely an evening I will never forget. I am so proud of everyone. I have thoroughly enjoyed the last three years at University. I have learned so much and I am truly grateful to everyone for all of their help and support. I just can't believe that it has really been three years already! It doesn't feel so long ago that I was walking in to the lecture theatre for my very first welcome talk at the University of Lincoln. I was so excited for my first day and meeting lots of new people. If you are new to my blog, I studied Audio Production at the University of Lincoln. I started University as a mature student when I was 24. I just felt that it was the right time and that I really wanted to go Uni.

Sunday Thoughts | Graduating, TV shows and Happy Things

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a lovely weekend. My weekend has been quite relaxing. As I've had the weekend off work, I decided to have a few extra hours in bed and to get caught up on taking photos for my blog and writing too. Although we had a couple of thunderstorms yesterday, the morning was quite lovely out, so I thought I better make the most out of it and take some photos. I also watched some TV too. I love watching Come Dine With Me, I also watched The Simpsons too. I don't think I will ever get bored of watching The Simpsons! I've watched them since they started airing on BBC 2 all those years ago and I still watch them all the time now and I'm 27! Remember when they also used to have The Fresh Prince on after too and Malcolm In The Middle. Oh and Buffy too!

My Pop! Vinyl Collection

Hi everyone! For todays post I want to share with you my Pop! Vinyl collection so far. I have already done a couple of posts with two of the Pops that I have got, but my little collection is slowly growing. I also mentioned that it was my boyfriend who got me in to collecting these! He has so many of them. I really love all of the Disney ones and I really want to get Rapunzel next. The very first one I got myself was Catbug from Bravest Warriors on Cartoon Hangover. I love Catbug so much! The next one I got was Belle. My friend and I went to the Disney Store and I just had to get her. Then I got Fluttershy from My Little Pony. I love My Little Pony and Fluttershy is my favourite. The other three that I have got, my boyfriend gave me. I have Olaf from Frozen, Gidget from The Secret Life of Pets and Scarlet Witch from Marvel, the Captain America Civil War one.

Sunday Thoughts | Birthdays, Food and Happy Things

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a lovely Sunday and that you have had a great weekend. I recently went out with some friends for a little while, as it was one of my friends birthday. So we all went out into town and had a good night. Today I've got the day off work, so I've decided to have just a chill out day today and have a little catch-up with some blog stuff. I've also been writing a long list of different blog post ideas that I want to do and I went to Wilko and got myself a diary, as I really do need to write things down more! I think I'm also going to do a little bit of tidying up later too. I'm not too sure what to have for my tea yet though, I love looking online for inspiration for recipes.

Looking At Old Photos

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a lovely week. For todays blog post, I thought I would share with you some old photos from when I was little. I love looking at old photos, they bring back so many memories. I love looking at some of the outfits I wore when I was little. I also felt that this post will let you get to know me a bit more more. There are so many more photos that I found in some albums, some did make me laugh! I chose just a few below and also the one above too to put in this post.

I was born on the 2nd March 1990. I was 9 weeks early, my mum had to have an emergency cesarean and I weighed 3lb 1oz and then went down to 2lb something. The first photo below is me in an incubator. I had to stay in hospital for a while before I was allowed home. My mum said that the nurses came in to see me and I had somehow managed to twist myself around and my head was the other end of the incubator!

Sunday Thoughts | I'm Back

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a lovely weekend. It's been a little while again since I've done a Sunday Thoughts post. It's also been a little while since I have done other posts. I absolutely love blogging, but recently I have felt a little out of touch with my blog. I have always known how I want my blog to look and be, but I suppose recently I've been having those horrid doubts come in to my mind about my blog. I decided that the best thing to do, was to have a little break. I just needed some time to gather my thoughts about my blog and to decide on content, photography and just ideas in general. I have missed blogging a lot, as I really do have a strong love for it.
